Welcome to Gwen's Blog; Artist / Illustrator, a journal for resource (weekly or monthly entries, then when ever a need...ebbs and flows... Commissions include work for The Royal National Theatre and Leica Microsystems. Gwen has had experience within the creative industries since 1997 during her B.A. in Theatre Design as a scenic art apprentice. She worked as a freelance designer for The Royal National Connections Festival of Youth Theatre, then after completing a P.G.C.E. teaching qualification, practised in art colleges and undertook teaching work for related projects with an organisation called Creative Partnerships. More recently, Gwen gained a M.A. (distinction) in illustration at Camberwell College of art. She has contributed work published by Dorling and Kindersley, The Blake Society and Bloomsbury. Gwen paints, creates graphic novels, writes and is inspired by memorable travel adventures, she develops dance performance projects and enjoys learning the flute.
